Pros
Comcast has the best culture and people! Truly one of the best places I have worked. At the time I was hired, the internal promotion rate was 83%, demonstrating their commitment to growing and developing their employees.I also appreciated Comcast's DEIB efforts and think they are one of the only companies who has gotten DEIB right. It is embedded in their values and culture everyday. It is not a check the box activity or something that is done due to social pressures.
Cons
Focus on return to office. During the COVID pandemic our employees demonstrated the ability to pivot quickly and thrive in a very challenging time. Given the success of remote work, employees should have been granted the flexibility of a hybrid schedule )not 4-5 days required in office). Having said that, this would not be a detractor for me recommending Comcast as a great place to work. Compensation was an area of opportunity but this is not unknown. At the time, Comcast was committed to providing the best culture even if they couldn't pay the highest in the industry. I would take a great work culture over high pay and a bad place to work any day!
