Pros

Medical benefits, 401K, Great employees

Cons

High employee turnover, stressful and hostile work environment. Upper management team got rid of many of the veteran support and sales managers and sales staff. Customer dissatisfaction due to high churn among sales staff. Bullying and systemic issues that largely harmed minority employees. Little opportunity for growth. Difficult sales quotas with no help from incompetent managers. Gossip and favoritism were promoted. Local HR no power to help employees with unfair treatment.

Pros

PTO and benefits are some of the best in the industry, COVID-19 WFH plan has been executed well. Genuine for employee wellbeing is clear.

Cons

Management is an old boys' club. VPs, GMs, DOS' and even LSMs are hyper-focused on metrics and have not a clue how AE sales tools work/have not made a pitch in 15+ years. On a national level, the company is tirelessly working to be more innovative and level up with giants like Google, FB, etc. On a local level, there is a disconnect. Boys club management spews nonsense about products with no understanding of the capabilities. They run the show like they always have, don't have any up-to-date industry knowledge, and flinch at the mention of having to put in extra work. These same managers are ones who are primarily responsible for training new hires (also seen as the future of the company). Not good. With local management being generally incompetent and sales support understaffed, AEs are required to wear several hats. Oh, but don't be one to raise a concern about how things are operating or you'll be given a 45-minute lecture from your manager who will invalidate your experience as an AE and ramble on about how successful they were selling newspaper ads in 1983.

Pros

They pay well and have good benefits

Cons

This is a top heavy, old school political organization that keeps people around that can't manage orgs in a modern day. There are so many VPs that try to get anything done is impossible due to turf wars and self-preservation. Most all have an unearned arrogance so trying to improve things to come in line with industry norms and best practices isn't possible. There is no way to move up because no one ever leaves. If you are career ambitious avoid here.
