Pay is not adequate for amount of daily stress Upper management often makes questionable decisions without thinking them through Metric scores are shared amongst multiple employees. Odds are you will be paired with someone who is content to disappear regularly and ride your coattails. Bringing these issues to management's attention generally doesn't solve anything. The same issues will occur daily, most of which are out of your control. Despite this, it will still be your responsibility to fix them. And they will still impact your metric scores. Promotions are not merit-based, they are based on your willingness to say "yes" to any requests from anyone.
