Comcast Software Engineer IV reviews

seemingly annual Reduction in Force layoffs every fall. very hard to get promoted or advanced even with good annual reviews. They have built new tech center in India, seems like lots of US position are being eliminated. Return to Office policy was not done in a timely or fair way. Mandatory in-office days seem to be in place, but seldom enforced Work-spaces in Comcast Tech Center are open spce, no partitions and our very noisy. Bathrooms in CTC have no flush urinals, and low air flow, by end of day the restrooms stink

- 4 days per week mandatory in-person (likely soon to be 5) - management not responsible for car theft or damage in the lot they make you drive to - building has been shot recently (~1 month ago at the time of this writing) - Kind of soulless work - upper management indifferent to any concerns raised in my 7-ish-year tenure - constant re-orgs - the only free drink is coffee
