Pros

Office staff seems to support the caregiver. CK tries to do fun employee meetings. Understanding of family emergencies. Locally owned and ranked a top 50 woman owned company.

Cons

Very poor comunication between office amd caregivers, and even worst between clients and office. Poor scheduling and under staffed. Medical (CNA 14.00 hr) and non medical (12.00 hr) Under paid , over stretched and lacking on "fringe benefits "

Pros

Love the clients and enjoy the work itself. Caring for the elderly is my passion and life calling!!!!

Cons

The office staff are completely unable to perform the simplest of communication skills. They cannot provide hours, and I have had clients tell me that they would like to cancel with this company due to the shortness and uncaring of the office staff. Which is so unfortunate and sad to hear!!!! The reason we have no hours to go around is beyond baffling!!!! If you need consistent hours and would like to be treated respectfully and have your messages return. In a timely manner, this comfort keepers is NOT for you.

Pros

They were nice at first. I got CPR certification and a first aid certificate.

Cons

I would not recommend working here. My uncle passed away during my first month here. They did not ask or even bother to question why. He died from bone cancer. I was unable to go to his funeral due to the demanding workload. I also suffered a nervous breakdown which landed me in the hospital. They are not compassionate people. I don't really understand how they got into the business of caring for others as they certainly don't care about their employees, and if your new will purposely place you with their worst clients to see if you will break or not. They also lied to me about the pay and location of work. I am considering sueing this company.
