Pros

You do meet some nice colleagues and benefits can be good as well as some occasional perks like half days and paid for lunches.

Cons

Managers always undermine the more junior staff. Coordinators are overworked and stressed as are the carers. If you voice concern you are accused of being dramatic. Some managers are very immature. Constant push for growth, when the company can barely keep carers on board. A lot of managers push their responsibilities on the Coordinators. Very hard work in terms with dealing with problematic, tiring phone calls from angry people. Can be very draining. Employees that suck up to management receive special treatment. Very toxic environment in regards to gossip, whispering and people talking behind each other's backs. You never know where you stand, it can be very unnerving.

Pros

When you actually are blessed to get over fifteen hours a week, the work is easy, clients are generally a delight to work with, you get to work independently, the money isnt so bad during weekdays. Also the training is of a high standard!

Cons

Weekend and bank holiday pay is brutal! You will be given ten minutes in between clients houses that are located 40 minutes apart from each other, the office never answer the phone, I have been attacked in clients homes and couldn't get through to the office for support, sometimes you have to stand around in the rain/cold for an hour or so before your next shift will start, management do not care about you. They will work you to the ground, use and abuse you, and when you break they have 100 other girls just like you waiting to start
