I could write an essay on how problematic and awful this job and company is. You will be severely underpaid. You could have a job flipping burgers and make the same or even more per hour. They say they start you off so low for affordablility for clients but let me ask: at the cost of paying people pennies who have to change diapers and shower people and feed them etc? Do your employees not have rent to pay in one of the most expensive places? WIERD They hardly give raises either instead they will give you a whole $10 to spend on amazon for your birthday and send a million messages saying you're appreciated but apparently not enough to make a fair wage. Depending on where you live you will commute over an hour to a person's home and you do not get paid gas money to commute or for time commuting so that low hourly wage is a joke since you will have to pay for the gas to drive that whole way out of pocket and put wear and tear on your own vehicle. The office will call you constantly even on your requested time off for shifts but if you need something or have an emergency during the shift have fun trying to reach anyone. You won't get full time hours even if you request it and if someone cancels you are out of work for that day so you don't get paid. You do not get benefits or paid time off unless you have been there for a year (good luck lasting that long on this hourly wage). Some of your shifts will be 3 whole hours which for a person needing to get paid to put food on the table is insane and you'll probably have to have a second job entirely in order to even make some money for the insane living costs.
