Fairly laid back. Some departments have good people and managers.
Cons
Low salaries for industry. No advancement path. Some bad managers. Constantly shifting often unclear priorities and tasks. Micromanaged to the minute. No work life balance. No remote work very little pto. Expected to sit in a chair and work like a robot for 8 hours. No matter how good you are you will not be promoted or rewarded. Constant layoff threats to the entire department.
