      Pros

      Learned a lot. Specialists are wonderful and collaboration among specialties is amazing. Great communication amongst specialties to help care for patients.

      Cons

      Profit driven. If your capacity is 14 pts / day, they will make you see 24/day and make you feel bad for drowning. You’ll take work home. Patients are demanding and rude, with no compassion from managers because their metrics are numbers driven. Meanwhile you will get paid the lowest salary in the market.

      No One Cares

      Biomedical equipment technician

      Pros

      Working with equipment is great. The hospital staff is mostly pleasant.

      Cons

      The biomed part of commonspirit is run by incompetent, entitled privileged people who don’t care about the techs. Biomed has its own HR department which leaves the tech always with the short end of the stick. Higher ups pretend to care and say they’ll check in (when a loved one passes away) but they never do. No one can be trusted to care about anyone.
