Pros

Commonwealth was a great place to work. Management listened to what people had to say. The company is involved in charities and philanthropy. It is a community of people that like to work hard and play hard.

Cons

Not a ton of cons. Apparently the help desk was a tough department to be in, but did not work with them.

Good place to start

Pros

It was good to start in the industry. There were good people there, and perks such as Bagel Fridays were great and company outings were nice. Training was a plus. Certifications were encouraged.

Cons

Surprising when trying to move to a new department, you were told you were too ambitious for the role. Biggest deterrent there for people and why so many leave. Pay isnt great, but they try to make up for it with bagel fridays, and a "ra-ra" attitude by saying how great the place is.

Pros

Great salary and bonus packages. Constant training programs that assist employees growth and learning, and great atmosphere in the office. The office location is near the T so it's easy accessible, and the building is great and well designed. Friday Bagels and beer on Fridays is great for the community.

Cons

Some department heads need to be open to ideas and innovation that can help the growth of the company. Not open to accept immediate change that can help improve processes and procedures which can have immediately impact the quality of services provided. If you don't accept or contradict their thoughts you will not have a job for long.
