Pros

“We pay in experience” - hiring managers They are not stingy with giving hours to staff.

Cons

Extremely unprofessional culture within the group home sector. Pay is way too low and they claim that it is based on experience but that doesn’t seem to be true. Some seasoned staff are very unwelcoming and they make it known that they do not care about your existence; they will look down on you with an air of superiority or look through you as though you don’t exist. They are very cliquey and behave in a high school-esque manner. Admin are incompetent and provide little to no real support to their staff.

Pros

Attractive offices, great co-workers, good location good experience. The clinical supervisor in SOC is amazing.

Cons

Onboarding is unorganized, pay is low, favortism, office politics, untruthful tactics and low balling when attempting to negotiate pay rate, inconsistent appointments, high turnover rate among clinicians, antiquated system. Seems like everyone is burned out.
