Pros

Community work Having a meaningful impact on families Some of the families within the properties are great to work with Building strong partnerships with community partners and other non-profit organizations

Cons

Management Micro-management occurs frequently Lack of support from senior management Unclear and unrealistic expectations Limited budget and low staffing Low salary Lack of advancement Lack of flexibility especially during the pandemic - they did not care about the health and safety of their staff. We were expected to work onsite in the beginning of the pandemic and instructed to do door-to-door knocking, even with confirmed cases on the property. Senior management in Community Life really micromanaged during this time while they worked from the comfort of their homes.
