It's a small town so most people in the managerial positions have less knowledge then the floor nurses and CNA they promote by most popular not by who is most qualified. The worst part is the Human Resources lady she does not do her job and has cost many employees that work there raises. Missed opportunities for health insurance and she does not treat everyone the same. And she will falsify documents to fire who she wants.The floor nurses and charge nurses know what they are doing but unfortunately they have managers that will not fight for their staff and they are unwilling to work overtime causing many nurses to work 5 6 shifts a week without not so much as a thank you.

Raises tended to be minimum for those lower on the totem pole. The pay was all over the place for people in the same role which seemed unfair. Pay is definitely on the lower end but is a great place to get in and get your feet wet. Because it is so big, departments tend to work in silos which is terribly frustrating, made it hard for the hospitals to have confidence in what we said since we overlapped. There is a lot of secrecy with everything which is also frustrating when you prefer transparency.
