overall good work-life balance with the amount of time off, benefits are amazing - especially a good amount of PTO and paid holidays,

Cons

pay could be better, barely any job advancement opportunities, lots of work for the department I work in, poor cross-departmental communication/collaboration, no ability for performance based raises (union/annual step level pay increases no more steps than 6 steps for most positions), rare opportunity for any department to work flexible/alternate schedules, most departments can't work from home at all,
