I worked in the NYC office. Management literally did not do anything to add any help whatsoever. Damion was my manager and would have meeting multiple times a week just fear mongering us, asking what we have ready and if we didn't hit a promo that it wouldnt go unnoticed to the company. How can morale be any good when the upper management is thereatningt to fire you for not hitting numbers yet wont contribute any help to help generate business. The carriers we used constantly got dropped. We would get random carriers, use them a lot for a month, then the carrier would get dropped. There is an extreme lack of transparency, seems like management is running around like a chicken without a head. Absolutley no leadership, my manager had a very big ego. i wish there was an actual structure, having your agents physically go into realtors offices, financial advisors offices etc does not work. It is literally as if you're starting your own business from scratch, but the compensation is entry level.
The rare case we were actually in front of a customer our product was either double the price or ineligible.
All in all, what a crap shoot, I have genuinely shocked that this office is still running, a bunch of people who did good in 2003 run the place and never adapted. How can you consider yourself a good manager when all you do is say wheres the numbers and not help in anyway, honestly save yourself the time go literally anywhere else. It got to a point where I quit with no other job lined up, thats how bad it was to work there.
