You will prepare for review cycle, hit all your marks and still not get a merit increase, you won't get a bonus and you won't get a promotion. You will get more work, which you'll never finish in a day. You'll be encouraged to "keep doing your best work" but it'll never be enough.
There is no transparency to policy changes that have been made without it being communicated company-wide. (They will apologize tirelessly but make no changes)
You will not have an option for equity because of "legal reasons."
HR is a team of 3-4 for the entire company.
There is no HR infrastructure which means everything is done by hand.
There will be companies being acquired in order to reach a very ambitious goal of having a substantial presence in the market, but those companies will never actually be "organic Compass."
There will be C level folks hired to make Compass profitable (which means, you'll more than likely not get a raise once the next cycle comes back around)
They will not answer any of your concerns clearly, its always covered in fluff and sparkles.
They want to IPO in 12-18 months but have told agent's that they don't so...who knows.
But, at least there are free snacks* and a Bevi machine to make it all worth it at the end of the day.
(jk, they've cut the snack budget too)
