Compass started only 10 years ago and has grown to become the #1 Real Estate company in the US, driven by it's Founder, Robert Reffkin.

Cons

Employees are sometimes given more tasks than they can accommodate. I'm referring to the Tech employees. Personally, I am not an employee, but rather an independent contractor.

Pros

The technology platform they offer is quite nice and makes marketing simple.

Cons

However you pay for that technology with their commission splits and other BS admin fees. They also hold an annual Compass retreat in a different city each year. Sounds like a great way to network and make connections with other agents across the country. The only problem is they charge you a couple grand to attend and you have to cover the cost of you hotel. So all in all in cost you over $3k for something that may bring you a deal every once in a blue moon.
