      Wonderful Care by Terrific People

      Pros

      I have been working as a PRN Chaplain with Compassus for a year. Without question it is the most inspiring work I have ever done and it is a gift to be able to work with such a wonderfully talented group of caring, skilled and ethical staff and clinicians.

      Cons

      Census has been a problem in this crowded market. Company relies on marketers who have not been successful where they really need to become more visible in the market possibly through advertising or community relations projects.

      Pros

      Have some good coworkers. I can't really think of anything else.

      Cons

      Unethical work expectations. They don't care about your license as long as you admit the patient, don't care how... by any means necessary. Will throw you under the bus to save their own butt and very cliquish. Expect you to come in early and stay late. No work life balance.

      Pros

      The company has been experiencing rapid growth over the last 2 years. That has given others room to grow in their position or to get promoted. The work load has increased accordingly. The company also has a great PTO plan.

      Cons

      Health benefits could be better but many companies are experiencing this issue today.
