Pros

It's good in the sense that you can get to know people, they have a savings option and you get the money at the end of the year

Cons

Low payment (back when I worked there, I'm not sure what they pay nowadays, too much pressure, micromanagement

Pros

Will pay for your certs, and has a tuition program Lots of skilled coworkers if you need help Good place to learn the ropes, and hone skills.

Cons

You will never get a raise - ever I repeat - you will never get a raise. Training is a bit like getting thrown into the deep end. Workload continues to increase, even when pay does not. Good place to leave after you have learned the ropes and honed your skills. As it is presently run, you are a fool to consider this as a long term career option. A year or two here should be good preparation for a good job.

Pros

Good opportunity to learn newer technologies.

Cons

1) Unless you're in management. The pay is very low. Most people never see raises. 2) Most contractors always stay contractors. Even though the're brought in as 90-day to hire. I was there almost 4 years as a contractor. The excuse everyone gets is that it's not in the budget, at this time. From my experience, they never hire people full-time, unless they absolutely have to. 3) No job security, at all.
