-Suddenly demands for overtime if a project gets busy without regards to your plans or life schedule making it unsuitable for those with young kids.
- No training provided. I started out working at this company with no idea how to used the operating systems they had and had to figure out most of it on my own through trial and error.
- Took forever to switch me over from part time to full time (More than a year).
- No breaks, not even to have lunch, during peak periods.
- High demand for output with little support or help provided to accommodate the sudden influx of work when it happened.
- Poor planing and projections, Again if they had projected properly they would have known about the influx of work and been able to plan for the support or in some cases the parts required to do the job and get it to the client on time. They had times when orders ended up weeks late because the ordering manager had not ordered enough parts to complete orders.
- Lack of space for tec's. We get big orders for 47" tv's and the tec only has room to work on five at a time, each taking roughly an hr or more to set up, and yet we have to get 100 of the things done in a day?
- Additional responsibilities and projects added on to an already overworked and overstressed worker without wage increase. This especially became a problem at the end when one person had to handle the job of five people.
- A inventory system that was constantly buggy and incorrect as far as QTY went. Not sure how it goes from me entering in 20 items into the database to all 20 items no longer existing the next day without orders going through. Others had this problem too and the system would normally correct itself the next day but when it didn't it was a pain to get things adjusted.
