Pros
When I first came to Computer Aided Technology, I was looking at is as a job. I now view this as my career. Some of the reasons include -Company cares about you -Large company in beneficial areas: advancement opportunity, job stability, ability to have focused and defined roles (and avoid being jack of all trades, but master of none), ability to provide resources (equipment, training etc) without penny pinching -Still small enough in culture to avoid some of the negative aspects of being too big I've experienced at other companies, such as: being just a number/lost in the shuffle, having strict/inflexible rules that don't take reality into account when making decisions.
Cons
The biggest challenge is with getting face to face interaction. Having locations across the country, we interact with all time-zones (both internally and with customers), but a majority of the communications are virtual (online meetings, phone calls) rather than in person.
