Great people to work with, really incredible supportive people in a friendly office; incredible culture opportunities ferment comradery in office; very good benefits. Willing to give each employee a chance. Many of the long-term employees in R&D (including some of the leadership) are friendly and people focused. During my time they were slow to promote people, but I've already seen through LinkedIn some notable advancements in a short period of time. Flexible start times. Summer hours.

Cons

Ambiguous job ownership makes knowing who can help for what tasks difficult. A “throw it at the wall” approach to some innovation projects can lead to unrealistic timelines and frequent pivots. R&D leadership is unfocused. Significant effort has been invested into systems and tools that have not yet delivered expected efficiency gains, creating frustration for teams relying on them. You are put in a place where you have to advocate for your projects to be prioritized. Unnecessary travel to a point of burnout. There often is minimal project impact from travel. Pay is less than similar companies.
