Pros

Great benefits, pay, perks and connections. They do a wonderful job of marketing to the employee and creating "buy in". You can't help but feel excited about working there. They make town halls feel like pep rallys and leadership meetings (When you've been deemed an invite) excite you about the potential. They have a wonderful inclusive culture with lots of areas to get involved...if your workload allows. Bottom line they have great ideas at the top, however it doesn't trickle down and if it did, no one follows through or can afford to get involved.

Cons

Not everyone is on the same page and you have to be able to play the polictical game. Top line leaders start a lot of projects and "road maps" to initiate simplification and cultural change and expect their employees to work a full load AND manage the daily workings of these projects. Their main kick is to "simplifiy" and they get employee involvement but then the projects eventually fizzle out with no results or cultural/business impact. They are so concerned and buried in process and procedure that they never get to the end result before the project dies in paperwork or people lose interest. My boss started a 2 year project, invested 1,000 of dollars and man hours and eventually just decided to stop the project. No impact what so ever other than a large chunk of budget was wasted. It ended up creating more bad than good. The worst thing about it. His project failed miserably and as a result he was promoted!!
