Pros
-Physician colleagues and staff in general nice, intelligent people that work hard. -Vacation - plentiful and easy to obtain most of the time ( you will need it) - bonus structure is decent for production but forget about quality bonus unless you are not human.
Cons
Allscripts - is horrendous !! Every patient requires 35 clicks mandatory and its nonsensical. Imagine seeing 35 patients and having to do this on every patient. - you will get no lunch - maybe 20 minutes. - if someone walks in at 4.59 pm which happens every day - you will be there until 6 pm easily. - As a center medical director you have more responsibility than you can possibly imagine and you are seeing the same amount of patients every day. - too numerous to count
