      The worst Company ever

      Pros

      They will accept students fresh out of college which is good for experience, u get CPR certified, drug and bat certification, some of the patients aren't so bad.

      Cons

      By far the worst company ever. They don't give out raises, most of the centers have drama (big drama). The wait time is too long for some people, they give VIP treatment to only 1 account in which all companies should be VIP. Understaffed is an understatement they work u hard the turnover rate is ridiculous. They won't work with your schedule u have to eat, sleep and breath Concentra.No paid holidays and PTO is only given if u work 32 hours and no time in a half when an holiday is worked. Just terrible

      Pros

      I built great work relationships with colleagues.

      Cons

      Poor leadership, no room for advancement. Since the acquisition of Concentra by Select Medical, there has been layoffs and overall moral is terrible. I highly suggest waiting until things stabilize before considering a job with this company, corporate or in a clinic. I predict it will take 2 years or more before there is a clear direction hear.

      Pros

      It's a very busy job. The clinic pushes patients through like a factory and it's not unordinary for Concentra clinics to treat more than 75 patients per day. Assisting doctor's and rooming patients requires constant movement so prepare to do a lot of fast walking. That being said, Concentra is a great place to get patient care experience before PA or medical school.

      Cons

      Concentra needs to focus on it's strength which is occupational health. Urgent care shouldn't be a part of their business model because the competition is superior and Concentra lacks supplies for this service. Clinics tend to be overcrowded and create more stress for the providers because patients complain of long wait times.
