If you can survive in a environment where you are constantly looking over your shoulder and not trusting those who you work with, apply to Concentra. As a member of the IT remote team you'll be tasked with assignments outside of your scope of work, with no additional compensation or training. Don't look for reimbursement for use of your personal cell phone or other mobile devices, and don't expect receiving company phone to cover the cost. A lot of "yes man/women" make up the bulk of the IT department, and if you present an idea to improve an area it gets shot down or someone may pass it on as their own. Some members believe the best way to advance their careers is to stab their teammates in the back, so be extremely careful who you work on assignments with. The end users are more interested in finding fault with members of the IT department, rather than working with us to get their problem resolved. Other than being able to come and go as you please, there are much better remote IT support jobs out there.
