      Pros

      - MTI (Manual Therapy Residency/Fellowship) offered. This residency program, which is offered at virtually no cost by Concentra, has been the single best professional decision I have made. My skills and knowledge have grown exponentially and I couldn't be happier. - Challenging and engaging work environment. Opportunities to work closely with MD's, Specialists and other providers directly. - Leadership is respectful and look out for your best interests. - Opportunity for growth in the Company

      Cons

      - Some are opposed to the workers compensation population; I have found that despite a few bad apples my patients largely improve and present as one would expect. In fact Concentra has an average case duration < 6 visits.

      your co workers in the center...that's all

      Cons

      Upper management is so out of touch. Don't understand the concept that happy employees= profitable business. Make rash decisions that affect the centers without the proper information . Bonus structure is a joke based on a survey that is even more of a joke. Things have certainly gone downhill quickly since the acquisition by select medical.

      Pros

      The clinics are closed on weekend and there is no on call hours. Some of the co-workers that you meet. I also worked with a advanced level manager that that was able to help me build my clinical skills.

      Cons

      Most of the clinic managers and above only focus is hitting their numbers so that they can make bonus. They have some manager and directors that are just medical assistant with no experience or college background and it shows in their management style. The structure is a joke and the place is a revolving door. Most experienced people don't last at the company as they find better employment opportunities and leave. Everytime you go to a clinic there are new employees, doctors, and managers.
