Pros

Big company, creative people, hard working

Cons

Lots of overhead-- very hard to get things that are inefficient changed, with the loss of interns there has been a major blow to the assistants

It’s O.K. so long as you remember to enforce your own boundaries

Pros

Some people think working at Conde Nast is prestigious. You'll meet some interesting, maybe famous, people. If you have a strong enough personality you can create the situation you prefer.

Cons

The publishing industry as a whole is unsure of itself. You have to look out for yourself to maintain a work life balance. Benefits could be better.
