I can't speak for 1st or 3rd shift but 2nd shift was an absolute mess: the managers are unprofessional, nobody follows any of the rules, raises are withheld for petty reasons, minimal training if any at all, excessive mandatory overtime, be ready to be run ragged at slave wages. I could go on.
