Conduent Software Engineer II reviews

It seems the greater and more useful to the company a person is, the more they are abused. Long hours, working intrudes greatly into vacations and personal times. Pay was minimal and there was no compensation for overtime. We were told we could take comp time, but scheduling regular PTO was difficult enough, never mind comp time. Of course, there is no pension and due to financial reasons, the company stopped paying into Employee’s 401K plans. They eventually resumed that, but the Company’s 401K contribution is a small percentage of what it contributed prior. The contribution is now based on the company’s performance. So in essence, if the company does well, they’ll kick in a few dollars. Training and career advancement is non-existent. If you’re given a task, you’re expected to be successful at it whether you know the subject matter or not. For a server move project, I was expected to be the Network Specialist even though I had only done minimal network related work. Internal systems/I.T. support was pitiful. Thankfully there have been improvements in that area but it might be too little too late.. We are expected to bend over backwards to please our clients but the support we received internally was much less than what we needed.
