      Pros

      Company and leadership are focused and have a sound technology vision. It is a startup environment, moving at hyper speed, but leaders are focused on making data driven decisions. CEO & CTO are 100% focused on customer success and that showed thru their reaction to product challenges experienced in late 2017.

      Cons

      Engineering is understaffed, being addressed, but has taken a while to find great talent.

      Pros

      Confluent is a great place to work at. It has all the good things the Bay has to offer - dog-friendly office, free lunches, great company culture, great people, flat hierarchy, a lot of room for personal growth, remote-friendly, working in a very interesting space and countless others. This company is hiring, growing and improving by the day. Regardless, there is work-life balance here. The best way to figure out what this place is like is to reach out to an employee and have him explain. I don't think anybody would say anything too bad

      Cons

      Lots of work to be done On-call once every ~two months Every company that is growing like crazy will have some hiccups along the way. The important thing is that this one has the right values which means any hiccup eventually gets ironed out.
