If you want to work with exceptionally smart people, look no further. Confluent attracts the best of the best. Smart, humble and empathetic. My team constantly reminds me of how wonderful teammates can be when you being together the right people in the right roles - who are there for the right reasons, and are selfless and caring about one another.
Cons
There are a lot of layers of approval to get even the smallest of things done, and often many teams doing the same things differently, making clear direction and movement toward a common goal a little frustrating.
