Pros

- There are some really sharp people at Confluent. If you are proactive in learning from your peers, you can grow a lot as a professional and build out a strong network - The pay is good compared to the market

Cons

- There was so much organizational change this year that I don't think any department has fully recovered from it yet. Some seemed like a good change, and others just made no sense (STREAMING PROJECTS). - The levels of constant inspection at this company border on the absurd. It's almost a miracle that anything actually gets done with the limited time we have outside of inspection meetings that we have to attend and inspection materials / processes we have to follow

In theory, a good salary if the numbers to reach where even close to be realistic.

Cons

Very strange company in which people are treated like kids and constantly controlled and trained to enter the very rigid mold the COO has decided for everyone. Very poor sales management in Switzerland and in DACH.

Nothing to be honest of couple of years stay.

Cons

I have worked in this company for couple of years. Wrong people are promoted and they don't stand by the culture. So called IC's they don't allow leaders to take decision or execute. Most of them spend time in self promoting. Company encourages self promoting. Employees do a small drop of water but talk like they have lifted entire ocean. Not sure this company is really worth.
