The workload is quite moderate but varies from team to team. Evey individual is expected to go above and beyond and your annual increment would be considered on the basis of how much above and beyond you have gone in comparison to the other employees in your team. Every team has its own set of parameters for the same, you might be doing great work but someone in another team doing less work might have a much better annual increment compared to you.
