Pros

There are some quality folks doing extremely valuable work that are great to work along side. Product is ok, but competition is catching up due to lack of roadmap.

Cons

If you survive a layoff (3 this year) and get to keep your job, chances are you're still actively looking elsewhere. Key product and support staff are also leaving. As a result, many departments are understaffed and expected to do more with no additional compensation. Morale is very low.

Pros

Flexible hours Competitive pay Many smart and hard-working coworkers No more pros but Glassdoor has a twenty word minimum

Cons

Great opportunity to capture huge areas of the market but poorly executed (poor architecture, poor implementation, unwilling to change) Employees with a history at the company (those that created the problem) continue to go down the wrong paths without considering new ideas from new employees

Pros

Life / Work balance; schedule flexibility

Cons

Just because a person is organized in their day-to-day work does not mean that the person is a good manager. It's important to me that I am empowered by a manager and I learn something from the person. ... not regressing. Some people are just not good managers. They may be able to help and train people in their current role that are in similar roles.. I've found that when someone doesn't know anything about a given field, they tend to not embrace the benefits that the field brings. For someone passionate about a respective field this can be disheartening.
