Pros
For the most part, I enjoyed working at and for Connexus. Most of the people were great and were welcoming to be a part of the team. They cared for you individually and take their family values seriously. There was room for growth and advancement. There was great communication as to the overall status and health of the organization.
Cons
Connexus has been an aggressively growing credit union. One of their core family values is "Work Hard/Play hard". Because of the aggressive growth strategy it should be "Work hard/Work Harder". They typically keep pushing their employees for "Just one more" whatever it is, and that "Just one more" then becomes the standard for the next month production. There are too many people assuming responsibility (and authority) for things that they shouldn't. Likewise, there is something about the culture that fits "don't do for yourself what someone else can do for you". There are some that take all the good credit from others work and pass all the blame of something not getting done onto someone else.
