Though experiences can vary widely depending on individual departments and work locations, I believe COP is a good company to work for and have no major complaints. Opportunity for advancement is there for those with the required abilities and with a history of performance.

Cons

Salary can vary, depending on department and/or location, for what is essentially the same skill set requirement and responsibility level. Not currently in an aggressive growth mode.

Management style tends towards micro-management lead from the top downwards. Decision-making stifled by constant need for approval by the many levels of management.
