Pros
Benefits: PTO including Day 1 health, Sick time, Bereavement, Jury Duty, Volunteer time, and accruing 10 hours of PTO a month for full time. Stock options - get paid out every 6 months, optional, can choose to pay a portion of check every month and they then do the purchase at a discount matching what the stock price was either at the start or end of the 6 months. FREE legal council for some items like Wills and discounts Discounts on things like pet insurance Internet Reimbursement every month Quality Assurance Bonuses for some departments Referal Bonuses I read someone mention training and they were dead wrong... but it may have been just their department as CCSI is an international company. For eFax Corp employees working the Call center during day hours, they get 1 day of overview training, and then 2-3 weeks of shadowing with 50% shadowing and the other 50% being shadowed, and if more is needed they get more. Remedial training is also consistent and an internal chat is used for assisting with any issues that may need extra assistance within the team. Multiple products. Leadership recognizes hard work, I was here a year and got promoted to a position that would typically require 3 years working for the company but management saw the hard work I did and knew I was capable, I'm now making more than I ever have at other jobs (I did ten years in IT) and am really only just starting here so lots of room for growth. Management will work with you, for example, I asked to have my schedule changed and we worked it out. Compensation for Call Center rolls is higher then some companies but lower then others.
Cons
When I started the pay was low, but there was a review, and from what I heard it went up quite a bit. Upper Management sometimes doesn't seem to notice the Customer Support team. They want to move to a hybrid office setup which is not really needed and an incredible burden for frontline agents not to mention costly. Teams outside of CS can come across as a bit hostile sometimes. You really need a good amount of Empathy and self-motivation to be good at this job which I think is a Pro but some may think is a con.
