Pros

There are not really any pros here.. it all depends on the manager you get.

Cons

Here’s what I experienced at CFP that might help you. Some managers are very toxic and expect you to know the business language and process in 1-2 days. Very disorganized and you will have to clean up people’s mess/mistakes. Like someone said here “The managers don't have management skills to teach their employees. They don't respect the employees and threat them as robots.” Training isn’t the best here and the systems/tools they use are very slow. You really need to be liked by everyone to able to stay and grow in the company. I noticed some leadership members aren’t LGBTQ+ friendly. Pay is very low (fast food worker pay) and the amount of work they give you isn’t worth it. Required overtime especially the last week of each month otherwise, there’s 95% chance you might get fired (work weekends too). They are very strict with time, so if you arrive two or three minutes late they will deduct those minutes from your pay check (same with lunch). You get a violation for almost everything! I wasn’t able to take my breaks most days because there’s was a lot of work I had to finish by the end of day. Gossiping is very common here and everyone will know everything about you. Low pay, old tools/systems, no time for breaks, required overtime, being treated like robots, poor training skills, depressed environment, not LGBTQ+ friendly

Pros

The days go by fast since there is always something to work on! If you show interest in moving up positions the managers will help teach you so that you can grow. This is a new office so plenty room for senior reps and account managers! They also provide extra training to show you more about the fire protection work that techs in the field do.

Cons

There is a big work load but if you’re motivated to be busy it won’t be an issue. Also lots of details that need to be looked at so working efficiently while also being diligent is a must.
