Absolutely disastrous after private equity takeover

Pros

-Decent amount of work in certain markets.

Cons

-Private equity ownership has completely changed the way the company operated and killed morale. -Terrible health benefits, below average PTO and, below average pay. -A lot of recent immoral if not illegal policy changes. In a cowardly way, some of them were snuck into the company policy instead of being announced via all-employee meetings. -Current employees have lost faith in legacy upper management. -The interim CEO from New Mountain Capital (private equity firm) doesn't even know what Consor does. How shameful is that?

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We recognize that changes in ownership and operations impact the employee experience, and this can be difficult to navigate. When policy updates occur, they are communicated through established internal channels and require acknowledgement to drive awareness, particularly during periods of change. Decisions related to structure, compensation, benefits, and policies are made with long-term sustainability in mind and evaluated against industry benchmarks so that we can continue supporting employees through meaningful work and long-term career development. This approach continues to guide how we operate as a firm. As we continue to grow together as a firm, we are here to make sure that all team members can see themselves growing with us—we encourage you to provide specific feedback to your HR partner, an HR leader, or through our anonymous feedback channel, AllVoices, anytime.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for the years you spent with the firm. While we have programs such as Kudos for day-to-day recognition and annual Core Value Awards at a companywide level, developing leaders and reinforcing a culture of appreciation remain ongoing priorities. Strong leadership and consistent recognition are critical to retention and engagement. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you the best moving forward.
