      Pros

      Experienced individuals help younger employers with work. sometimes days are not too busy. Super pay and many opportunities for overtime x2. Every 5 weeks there's a training week to de-load from plant work. Getting qualified takes about 11 months and pay increases from 35 to 55 the hour.

      Cons

      Some procedures are very strict and are not useful to do. Forced overtime especially for newer operators where they recieved 1-4 extra shifts per week. EOs are on a Hybrid 8-12 hour schedule where they work 12hr shifts on the weekends but 8hours on weekdays which leads to more days on shift compared to other plant's 12 hour schedules. In the time I've been qualified there has been many shifts in higher level management and some have left the plant which leaves holes in management work items and has lowered the morale of our department when concerning issues are not addressed. I heard from a coworker who has been at the plant for 30+ years that the items we want to see get worked on during outages do not get worked on and we keep reporting problems with minimal change.
