Experiencing Layoffs and Culture of Fear

Pros

The people are great. Some teams have great leaders who care about their teams and work hard to improve healthcare in AZ and CO. Flex Fridays are nice as there is a chance to have every other Friday off if you work 9 9 hour shifts.

Cons

Since the merger there has been a culture of fear. HR is seen more of an adversarial group that is not interested in the culture, assisting with disputes, or listening to concerns. Issues and concerns have been brought up in multiple meetings and rarely acknowledged and after a year, no steps to resolve. There have been layoffs and a lot of people leaving for greener pastures. Many teams have leaders that create a culture of fear and competitiveness that is dragging down the morale.

Pros

Great pay, benifits and work -life balance.

Cons

A mid-level management that seems to ignore the values of upper management.
