      Great people, tough environment

      Pros

      Great people with lots of experience willing to teach you things about construction. Opportunities for growth are there for those willing to work hard. Competitive salary and benefits.

      Cons

      Company performed many layoffs, and we were always in fear of our jobs. High turnover. Project doesn't end with the same people it started with. Work environment highly depends on project. Some managers are 80+ hour week workers and encourage you to work the same. Some are realistic and understand the need for family and work/life balance.

      Pros

      Very few. They promise a-lot, then do not follow through. They give young people opportunity, but do not train them accordingly.

      Cons

      Expect to work 60-hours per week for 40-hour salary. Management encourages rating employees harshly so they get a larger share of the bonus pool, when there is one.

      Good pay and alright benefits

      Cons

      Very unorganized company. It seems that they bid jobs with random uneducated numbers. Once the job is won then they show up with a couple of their people with no plan or strategy then start hiring random unqualified people and give them positions well above and beyond their expertise. Losing money week after week seems to be the only thing they "Do right more than once"
