Don't push too hard

Pros

Laid back working environment with little overtime or weekend work required, good pay and benefits. More aimed at people looking to spend a lot of their career in one place than climb the ladder. They did do a good job of staying slim during the recession and are generally thoughtful of their employees.

Cons

Small possibility for advancement on the technical side. They say they have a technical ladder but there are very few positions on it. Not proactive about R&D, only build based on requests. Subservient to German HQ, antiquated processes and software.

Pros

Part of Continental Growing size of company gives you a hope that things will change in the future and the Monopoly of the corrupt HR and NJ branch comes to an end

Cons

Management is really bad . IT support is pathetic and has been pathetic throughout the years, all the IT guys from my start year of 2004 to 2013 have been equally hopeless - atleast IT is consistent in that way- they have always been bad Speaking the truth has been a crime in this company which prides itself in lying. Slow in the NAFTA market No Global presence, but egos are inflated and bloated. Lacks a honest Dialogue with the people in the field. Most concerned with the Big offices only ( Auburn Hills )
