Growing Company Doing Good

Pros

-A team of passionate people that care about their clients and providing innovative solutions to the mental health space---meaningful work is being done every day. -Private-equity backed with transparent leadership who truly care about fostering the current culture as well as transforming the organization, not just the bottom line. -Great benefit offerings including medical, 401K, student loan debt repayment, open PTO, parental leave, and bonus opportunity. -Opportunities for career growth and advancement, especially at this stage of growth. -Collaboration between departments is something you don't find everywhere; everyone is willing to help and work together for our clients.

Cons

-We are growing and merging two companies/acquiring a third all within 9 months is no easy feat. Implementing changes, although necessary, can be uncomfortable for some. -As organizational changes are happening and we are working fully remote, sometimes employees don't necessarily know who handles what.

Great Pay, Terrible Workload

Pros

- very competitive pay - nice benefits (e.g., "unlimited" PTO, health care, etc.) - collaborative community

Cons

- very metric oriented organization, so much so that personalization disappears and you become only as important as the numbers and statistics that you can produce - inconsistent working hours un-formally encouraged by management, the management will tell you to take lunch or to leave at 5:30p EST but will assign you Salesforce cases around 6:30 or 7p - for months I was so busy(as a new hire) I couldn't take a regular lunch until it became assigned - poor management, the management is built out and the hierarchical structure is in place but no one ever knows who to turn to first or about what - also in regard to management, you will have to ask, beg, and plead with them to try and have clear and concise expectation in regard to your role - role expectations - always changing due to a high turnover rate, you will be expected with sometimes only days notice to take over other employee(s) responsibilities if/when they quit unexpectedly - you're expected to cross train in multiple functional areas but those trainings aren't always readily available - very heavy workload, once more due to employee turnover and recidivism, I've inherited Salesforce cases/tickets that are from 1-3 years ago that were from my predecessors predecessor - minimal training offered, it's packaged as a "three week intensive shadowing and training session" it does not prepare you well for what your roles will actually be or the true case load - marketed as a tight knit inclusive environment with great company culture, that has not been my experience
