DA's office only, Clerical Team. Middle Management is power hungry. The salaries are median range but the amount of cattiness makes it seem like they're getting paid millions - there is no amount that constitutes psychological warfare from your managers or peers. The power dynamics between the attorneys and clerical team are are so apparent it hinders any form of team building/collaboration. I understand it's tough to accept the reality that a fresh 22-year-old law student is getting 6-figures while a 18-year clerical vet remains under $80K, but that's the name of the game when working for the DA's office.

It is who you know. If you're not friends with the management, you're not going anywhere.
