Slowly Trying to Turn

Pros

Ann took over a struggling company with a lack of foundational business focus for success and I believe her and her direct team is on the right path to building a successful company. Profitability is turning the corner. IT leadership is now in place that understands strategy and road mapping and is working to consolidate systems and bring best in breed to the company. Financial leadership is now in place focused on and driving to the bottom line and not driving to how many companies can we acquire to be the biggest. I am confident that in 5 years under Ann and team's leadership this will be a stronger company.

Cons

There are plenty of managers, but very few leaders. Managers, including all levels to EVP, like to use the Values and Beliefs (Vs & Bs) as a whipping post or a rally cry. They quote the Vs & Bs when they want someone else to do work, but they do not live by them. They portray the image that the Vs & Bs do not apply to them. Toxic managers who manage through intimidation and bullying. Unfortunately, their actions are condoned by their managers and therefore goes completely unchecked. Managers do not listen to colleagues or others, they only have "their" way of doing things. Way too many chefs.

Pros

Decent pay. Got to mainly work independently.

Cons

I had a horrible experience working with this company for two months. There was always poor communication, which caused me to always be delayed in my work. This somehow turned into me being at fault for everything. It takes colleagues several days to reply to emails. There was a lot of information I didn’t receive to do my work at 100%. They also expected me to work in a hot warehouse and oversee packages being delivered into the warehouse, with no clear directions of what to do when things were being delivered or picked up. Leadership was worst of all. There was an incident where I apparently made a complaint about a coworker which wasn’t true, that made working super awkward and uncomfortable. There was a lot of gossiping and drama. This is most unorganized company I have ever worked for. I would not recommend anyone to work at this company.

Pros

Benefits are decent (health insurance, PTO, etc)

Cons

Misleading details in the interview Lack of true support once in your role They talk about diversity and inclusion a lot, but there is actually none. Very click-ish Managers share everyone's business, so don't talk to anyone about anything except work. Some of the executives (regional level) are wildly inappropriate and extremely condescending Extremely lengthy interview process and a lot of game playing during the process. (telling you one salary and then offering over 20% less, One individual was rude, dismissive, and not paying attention during the interview)
