Pros

Students, campus, location, a lot of experience on a smaller campus; career opportunities will probably be external based on your expereince not necessarily through the title of the college

Cons

Extremely poor leadership, low salary compared with experience and education compared to the many job titles/ duties you will take on in your role, purposefully pitted against colleagues, manipulation, cliques, burnout, high turnover, excuses ... dysfunctional...

The community and colleagues are nice. Students as well

Cons

The administration has not been doing well especially with the previous president. Current president is doing everything she can to fix what the last president has done

A Privilege to work here

Pros

Though the pay is lower for adjunct instructors, the environment is supportive of them here at Converse, especially in the English department. I work a an adjunct and as a graduate student, and I find my supervisors and teachers supportive, attentive, and kind.
