Old school manufacturing mentality. Political. Silos, Fiefdoms, rigid hierarchy, etc. Lip service paid to employee engagement. Low pay scale.

It would be a political embarrassment if some of the management had to represent the company on the road. I have personally witnessed a supervisor treat employees so poorly that my adult lady co-worker had to excuse herself to the bathroom to cry. This was not a one time thing; I had personally filed a complaint about her over a year prior and there seemed to be no apparent repercussion.
