Pros

Reasonable amount of flexibility. Plenty of overtime. Fair Benefits.

Cons

Forced overtime. Mediocre pay for skilled help. Poor organization and disheartening ability of entire plant to meet customer orders on time. Overtime is chronic and expected. Training is minimal. Indoor climate is chronically hot due to two enormous kilns inside the building. Poor ventilation. Messy.

Pros

I can*t think of any.

Cons

The pay rate is low, very little training. It is like working at a daycare. They make impossible goals to reach. HR is a joke.

Pros

Some of the people there are decent people. People who know what they are doing. Some. The rest? All just cogs in a poorly maintained machine. Sorry, nothing I have is very positive to say. Wait, the deli on the ground floor is pretty good. So, there, the Deli is a "pro".

Cons

Management holds you to expectations that were never once conveyed. Executives on the top floor act as if they are landed gentry. Zero interdepartmental communication, let alone planning. Everything is either an afterthought or so late in execution that it might as well have been an afterthought. Executive management is far too busy searching for "new paradigms" rather than working on getting what they have up and running. Do your job, ask the questions that your experience gives you reason to ask, and be branded as a person who is not falling in line. Even if the questions you ask are valid and in the best interest of the company that is paying you for your expertise. Zero documentation. Zero adherence to industry best standards.
